Reservation Process


Can you explain the reservation procedure?

Can I make a reservation directly with the hotel?

The rates listed on our website (www.hobo-ya-hotels.com) are only available through our service. Rates offered directly from hotels are typically higher than ours. If you make reservations directly with the hotel you must pay directly to hotel and e-hotel-thailand.com will not have any part of the dealings.


How long does it take to check room availability?

After we have received your Reservation Request From, our Customer Service Agents will make a temporary reservation at the soonest possible time and send you a Request Confirmation Email. These process takes few hours when your send the request in our working time. And in any case it takes 24 hours at latest.


When will my booking be confirmed?

According to the Reservation Request Form you have submitted, if the room available our Customer Service Agents will make a temporary reservation and send you a Request Confirmation Email which includes booking details, payment instruction and cancellation policy, etc. (If the hotel have no room available, we will inform you with alternative hotel information.)


At the point we receive your payment, your reservation will be confirmed. We issue a Prepaid Voucher which you should print and show to the hotel reception upon check-in. In case an urgent Reservation Request which has the risk to be affected by hotel’s cancellation policy, your credit card information is required before we reserve your room.


How can I change my reservation?

Please send us your request by simply replying to the Request Confirmation Email which you have received when you make a reservation.


How can I extend my stay after check-in?

We would be delighted to assist you in extending your stay. Please contact our Customer Service Agents via e-mail or phone call. If you make reservation for extending nights directly with hotel, you must pay directly to the hotel and e-hotel-thailand.com will not have any part of the dealings.


Room Rates & Payment Process


Are your hotel rates per room or per person?

All our rates are per room bases, for either 1 or 2 guests, unless there is notice on our website.


Is breakfast included in the room rate?

It is depends on our hotel partner’s policy if they includes or not includes breakfast in the room rates. Details for breakfast is indicated just below the room rates on our website.


What is the policy for children?

Children younger than 12 years sharing accommodation with parents are not charged extra in most hotels, unless they require extra bedding or breakfast.


However, the policy for children is up to our hotel partner and each individual hotel has different condition. The Child Policy for each hotel is indicated just below the room rates on our website.


Kindly be advised that some hotels will limit occupancy of a room to two adults and one child, also have right to verify the legal age of children.


Early Check In

Check In Time is 14:00 in Most of Hotel. In case you arrive earlier, hotel staff might let you check in before Check In Time if they have room available. However, this is depends on hotel' policy and circumstances on your Check In Date. If you want definite reservation for Early Check In, an Early Check In Fee equal to 1 night's room charge will be charged.


Late Check Out

Check Out Time is 12:00 in Most of Hotel. If you want use the room after the Check Out Time (no later than 18:00), a Late Check Out Fee equal to 50% 1 night's room charge will be charged, in general. If you want use the room after 18:00, a Late Check Out Fee equal to 1 night's room charge will be charged. Please note that Late Check Out will not be available when hotel has high occupancy in room.


When do I need to pay for my reservation?

Generally we set a period for payment as within 10 days after we send you the Request Confirmation Email. Kindly be advised that there is a case that we request your credit card information in advance of reserving your room, if it is an urgent request which has a risk to be affected by hotel’s cancellation policy.


What is your credit card payment procedure? And how safe is it?

Please sign on the Credit Card Payment Authorization Form, which will be attached on Request Confirmation E-mail, and send us back by Fax. If you don’t have fax environment, please scan the filled form, save the as a .jpg file and send by e-mail to us. To prevent of any illegal use of credit cards, we only accept a credit card which belongs to the customer who actually stay the hotel.


HOBO-YA HOTELS will secure your credit card information strictly and securely destruct after the transaction.


Cancellation of the Reservation


What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel your booking after settle the payment, e-hotel-thailand.com will charge a cancellation fee. The cancellation policy is up to our hotel partner and each individual hotel has different condition. For the details of cancellation policy, please refer to the hotel information pages on our website.


Any cancellation before payment will not be charged.


Shortening your stay

If you need to shorten your stay, please contact our Customer Service Agent by E-mail. We will refund to your Credit Card as per Cancellation Policy for each hotels. Please note that any shortening stay without contacting us before your check out day, we are unable to refund.


Others


What do I do, when I check-in the hotel?

Please show the Prepaid Voucher to hotel receptionist upon check-in. In the case you lose or forget your voucher, you can still check-in most of the time if the hotel receptionist can confirm your identity with your passport. If you have any trouble upon check-in, please contact to our Customer Service Agent immediately.


What do I do, if I was double charged by the hotel?

The Pre-paid Voucher indicates that you have complete payment with e-hotel-thailan.com clearly. In the case you are double charged by the hotel, please call our Service Agent immediately, so that we can talk to hotel directly. If you don’t have enough time to call us, please send a copy of receipt to reservation@hobo-ya-hotels.com. We will start an investigation right away.


Can I request an Airport Transfer?

Yes, we can arrange your airport transfer. If you need airport transfers, please click ’Airport Transfer’ check box when you submit the Reservation Request Form. You can check the airport transfer fee on our website or contact our Customer Service Agent.
